For the opening of the new Talking Music event series at the JPC, Stephen Foster welcomes one of the world’s greatest bassists to the JPC stage.
Norman Watt-Roy made his name with Ian Dury and The Blockheads having previously been part of the Radio Caroline-backed Loving Awareness band.
Norman then teamed up with former Dr Feelgood guitarist Wilko Johnson, working with him right up until Wilko’s death in 2022.
Norman has a wealth of stories which he’ll be sharing with Foz. He’ll also be giving us an insight into his unique style of bass playing.
