When Mary Lennox is orphaned she is bundled off to live with her uncle at the gloomy Misselthwaite Manor. Sullen, spoilt and lonely, she begins to be entranced by the mysteries of the house and its gardens… but can she unlock the secrets that are held within? With the help of some unexpected friends – and an overgrown magical garden – her life, and the lives of those around her, is transformed.
This Summer, Spinning Wheel Theatre’s charming and heart-warming adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s treasured childhood novel hits the road across East Anglia. A joyful and uplifting tale of magic, friendship, and hope, this is a show for all the family – not to be missed!
Performance 6pm to 8pm (including interval)
The performance will be British Sign Language interpreted.
Tickets £9.50 (£7.50 over 65yrs & under 18yrs)
Workshop 3pm to 4pm
There is a free workshop for children 7-11yrs that will involve fun & creative drama activities exploring the themes of the play with the cast of the show.
Children can only attend if ticket also booked for the show. Spaces are limited, and must be booked in advance. Please contact the John Peel Centre Box Office to book a space for your child, or if purchasing tickets from the Spinning Wheel website, select the appropriate option.
